ID Genève takes a new step in sustainable watchmaking with the launch of an exclusive model, the result of an unprecedented collaboration with the independent watchmaker-creator Florian Preziuso. Born from a professional friendship at the Geneva Watchmaking School, where both teach, this alliance between Cédric Mulhauser (co-founder and watchmaker at ID Genève) and Florian Preziuso gives rise to a unique piece joining the CIRCULAR collection.
This collaboration represents the fusion of two distinct yet harmonious visions of the art of time. It is precisely in this meeting space, where ecological constraints become a catalyst for creativity, that the richness of this project lies: two experts uniting their know-how to prove that the watchmaking of tomorrow is built as much on technical heritage as on environmental responsibility.
"Sharing knowledge is an invaluable asset, and this collaboration with Florian Preziuso shows that creativity and expertise don't simply add up – they multiply!"
– Cédric Mulhauser, co-founder & watchmaker, ID Genève
The dial tells a story of second life. Recovered from a defective stock at ID Genève, it was completely dismantled and then re-decorated by Florian Preziuso. The craftsman used a fixed graver, a traditional 19th-century tool, and a guilloché technique invented specifically for this piece. The result: a pattern of irregular circular cams offering a unique brilliance on each example. Its brass base, intentionally left untreated, is designed to evolve and develop a patina over time, creating an intimate connection with its owner.

The beating heart of this collaboration, the rotor was entirely developed by Florian Preziuso. Machined from brass offcuts sourced from the Geneva Watchmaking School, it stands out for its unified "monoblock" design – eliminating the need for a traditional "heavy sector", typically made of gold or tungsten. Aesthetically, it replicates the fixed-graver guilloché technique of the dial, creating a perfect visual harmony between the top and the underside of the watch. Its CO₂ impact is zero.
To showcase these artisanal decorations, the case adopts, for the first time, a fully sandblasted finish. Made from 100% reprocessed stainless steel manufactured in Le Locle, it offers a matte texture that sets this iconic model apart from its predecessors. Two strap options complete the piece: the signature NISIAR© vintage 2024 strap, crafted from grape marc derived from the winemaking waste of Château de Beaucastel (Châteauneuf-du-Pape), or a 100% reprocessed stainless steel integrated bracelet with a matching sandblasted finish.
“It all begins with a personal and philosophical encounter, driven by a shared conviction: nothing is lost, everything is transformed.
By combining watchmaking expertise, existing materials and traditional techniques, this collaboration gives rise to a unique timepiece, at the crossroads of art and innovation."
– Florian Preziuso, watchmaker, Antoine Preziuso
Due to the considerable development time and hours of artisanal work required for each piece, this model is available exclusively on pre-order in an extremely limited edition.
