RESPONSIBLE LOBBYING POLICY

1. Scope

This policy applies to all activities of ID Genève Watches that may influence public policy or government decisions, whether conducted directly or through intermediary organizations.

2. Commitment to Responsible Lobbying

When ID Genève engages, either directly or through intermediary organizations, in activities that may influence public policy, it commits to adhering to the following principles:

a) Positive impact only

ID Genève commits to supporting only positions and public policies that contribute to a positive impact on society or the environment, in line with its mission and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Any position contrary to this commitment is excluded.

b) Based on reliable and scientific data

Any position taken by ID Genève regarding lobbying is based on reliable data (independent studies, verifiable market data) and/or scientific data (peer-reviewed publications). Positions not supported by solid data are not endorsed.

c) Financial and in-kind contributions

ID Genève makes no direct financial or in-kind contributions to political parties, candidates, or election campaigns.

d) Anti-corruption

ID Genève is committed to a zero-tolerance policy toward corruption and fraud in all of its advocacy activities. In accordance with the UN Convention against Corruption and Swiss law (Art. 322ter et seq. of the Swiss Criminal Code), no offer, promise, or payment intended to unduly influence a public decision is permitted.

e) Intermediary organizations

ID Genève ensures that its values align with the lobbying positions of the organizations of which it is a member. If an intermediary organization takes a position contrary to this policy, ID Genève:
•    publicly expresses its dissenting position
•    explains how it positively influences the organization in question
•    defines the red lines it will not cross - the circumstances that would lead it to terminate its participation

3. Implementation

The policy is communicated to the entire team and integrated into decision-making processes. Any new membership in an organization that may engage in lobbying requires management approval.

4. Risk Monitoring

Management annually reviews the lobbying positions of intermediary organizations of which ID Genève is a member to ensure consistency with this policy.

5. Complaints

Any stakeholder may report a concern related to ID Genève’s lobbying activities via the grievance procedure available at idwatch.ch/grievance.

This policy is reviewed annually and approved by management
