The Circular 1: Where it all began

Every brand has an origin story.

Ours started with the Circular 1.

This wasn't just our first watch. It was proof that Swiss watchmaking could be circular without cutting corners on precision, quality, or design.

We didn't follow the industry. We chose a different path.

Circular by design

The name says it all.

Case and bracelet: 100% reprocessed stainless steel, reprocessed locally, kept in a closed loop. Every step (from sourcing to finishing) was built to minimize waste, cut emissions, and deliver the quality Swiss watchmaking demands.

This circular model became the blueprint for everything that followed.

A community cornerstone

Our first release became one of our most recognized watches.

The Circular 1 resonated with people who valued transparency, thoughtful design, and responsible production. Its success confirmed there was space – and demand – for a different kind of Swiss watch brand.

It remains a core piece in the ID Genève collection.

The watch proved the concept

The Circular 1 came from a straightforward idea: build a Swiss watch using reprocessed materials sourced locally and made to last.

From day one, we knew sustainability couldn't be bolted on later or used as a marketing angle. It had to be fundamental – shaping every choice from materials to manufacturing partners.

The Circular 1 proved it could be done. And done well.

Built to last

The Circular 1 was designed as a daily wearer that you'd keep for decades.

Clean design. No unnecessary details. Just balance, clarity, and proportion. Modular construction means it can evolve over time – because a well-made object should adapt, not end up in a drawer.

Longevity isn't just about durability. It's about staying relevant.

Chapter one

The Circular 1 is more than a watch.

It's the foundation of ID Genève, the piece that shaped everything after it.

Every new model, material innovation, and collaboration traces back to this first chapter.

The story continues.
